The Nook guide
Rainy-day rescues in NI.
It's lashing. Again. You know the drill. So we've gathered the best indoor spots across Northern Ireland — soft play, climbing, trampolines, swimming and more — organised by where you are.
A few things worth knowing
Ages — soft play suits roughly 0–10; trampoline parks and climbing usually start at 4+. Check height and age limits before you go.
Cost — soft play is roughly £5–£9 a child; leisure-centre swims and climbing walls are great value; many museums are free.
Tip — at weekends and during school holidays they get mobbed, so go early or pre-book. Grippy socks are often required.
Free option — the Ulster Museum in Belfast is free, and libraries run free events all year round.
Always check — opening times and prices change. Confirm before you head out — Nook links you straight to each one.
